Apple iPhone 5se, iPad Air 3 Release News: Both Devices To Be Available 3 Days After Launch

Apple is reportedly launching the iPhone 5se and the iPad Air 3 sometime during the week of March 14, according to earlier reports. Now, a report is claiming that the launch is indeed happening on March 15 and that both devices will be released in the market three days after the launch date.

According to Apple news site 9to5Mac, a special Apple event is supposedly happening on March 15. In addition to this, the report also says that both the iPhone 5se and the iPad Air 3 will reportedly be available in both online and retail stores of the company as early as March 18.

It also claims that pre-orders for both devices will not be available for consumers because of the devices' reported early release, but the report also says that this marketing strategy may still change. It claims that this business strategy is new for Apple, as it has always practiced having at least one or two months in between a launch date and actual release in the market. This new strategy, however, has been applied previously when Apple released the iPad mini 4 on September 9 in 2015, according to a Tech Times report.

The iPhone 5se is said to be a successor of sorts of the iPhone 5s, which is Apple's only 4-inch iPhone model. Rumors about the device have been swirling around the Internet and the most prominent ones are saying that while the phone is much smaller than the other iPhone models, it will have the same specs as the iPhone 6s. This means it may sport A9 and M9 processors. It is also rumored to have support for Apple Pay and "always-on" Siri.

The iPad Air 3 has long been awaited by consumers who want to upgrade their iPad Air. The last generation of the iPad Air was released October 2014 and consumers have been waiting for the next generation device of this line-up. Rumors are saying that the new tablet will be equipped with a 4K display and whopping 4 GB of RAM. A higher resolution display will also come with better battery life. Another report is saying that it will make use of the Smart Connector technology that first came out in the iPad Pro. Its camera will also get a flash and it is said to have four speakers for better audio quality.
