Apple is attempting to address any battery complaints about the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S by releasing a new Smart Battery case that promises to give users 25 hours of additional talk time.
Some users of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S have complained about poor battery backup after Apple downsized the battery size from 1810 mAh to 1715 mAh. The Smart Battery case for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S, which has already been put up on the Apple website, offers 25 hours of talk time, 18 hours of 4G LTE Internet use, or 20 hours of video playback.
Based on the product description, the Smart Battery case can be used for charging the iPhone. The exact capacity of the case's battery, however, has not been specified.

Despite of the stipulated benefits of the Smart Battery, Tech 2 questions Apple's motive for selling users an iPhone 6S with a small battery then later asking them to shell out more dollars for an additional accessory that promises to increase battery life. Nevertheless, the report commends the Cupertino-based tech giant for an impressive innovation.
