The Apple event this September is fast-approaching, and along with it comes the new iPhone models. However, before the big reveal, solid leaks reveal the devices' price range in the Chinese market, along with the confirmation of three variants. The top caliber phones will be competing against the likes of the Galaxy Note 7 and LG V20 in the upcoming months.

This was supported by a user on Weibo that posted a similar leak, but with additional information. The leaks also validate the exclusion of the 16GB storage option, making 32GB the new standard.

Some rumors suggest that the internal storage will jump from 32GB to 128GB, while others exclude the 128GB option, jumping from 64GB to 256GB altogether. Here are the prices of the iPhone 7, originally in Chinese Yuans and directly converted into US Dollars:

iPhone 7
32GB - $790
128GB - $990
256GB - $1060

For comparison, the current prices of the iPhone 6S models are as follows. Note the difference in storage options.

iPhone 6S
16GB - $790
64GB - $910
128GB - $1030

Following are the prices of the iPhone 7 Plus, along with the prices of the iPhone 6S Plus for comparison.

iPhone 7 Plus
32GB - $910
128GB - $1030
256GB - $1180

iPhone 6S Plus
16GB - $910
64GB - $1030
128GB - $1160

From these leaks, it looks like Apple has managed to double the storage options in the iPhone devices without drastically affecting the cost. There is even a new 256GB option, which was previously exclusive to the iPad lineup, and is first for the iPhone.

Due to the recent omission of the 3.5mm headphone jack, the retail box will come with EarPod headphones sporting a Lightning Connector. There will also be a Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter for those who opt to use their own headphones. Do note however that these are price tags for the Chinese market, without factoring in currency differences, taxes, exportation, and other additional cost. The US market may see lower price points.

The iPhone 7 Pro

The current iPhone lineup tops out at the Plus moniker, with mostly the screen size being the main difference. The iPhone 7 range will diverge from Apple's usual two-model scheme by introducing the new iPhone 7 Pro. It will sport a similar 5.5-inch display as the iPhone 7 Plus, with one of the main difference being the inclusion of a dual-camera lens setup. Other differences of the Pro model from the rest of the lineup remain unclear. The price range for the iPhone 7 Pro is as follows:

iPhone 7 Pro
32GB - $1060
128GB - $1180
256GB - $1330
