Apple Throws Tantrum After Judge's Ruling on HTC Patent Case (VIDEO)

Apple has been accused of throwing a child-like tantrum for expanding their list of condemned Samsung products. The decision followed a judge's ruling that the company must share information with their competitor.

Apple was ordered to supply Samsung with the information regarding the HTC patent deal by a judge on Thursday, according to reports. Samsung has argued that access to the patent deal could help build their defense against Apple's attempts to have certain major Samsung products taken off the shelf.

The battle between the two tech companies began in August when Apple was awarded over $1 billion after a jury sided with a majority of their patent infringement claims against Samsung. At the time, Samsung responded with a countersuit, but failed to receive any compensation.

Now both companies are fighting tooth and nail to sabotage each other. Apple now believes Samsung should stop selling even more items after the judge ordered the company to supply information for the HTC patent deal. The new list includes:

• Samsung's Galaxy S III (with the most updated Android software, running Jelly Bean)
• Samsung's Galaxy Note 2
• Samsung's Galaxy Tab 8.9 Wifi
• Samsung's Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
• Samsung's Rugby Pro
• Samsung's Galaxy S III Mini

"Apple has acted quickly and diligently to determine that these newly-released products do infringe many of the same claims already asserted by Apple," the company said in the filing, reported IOLscitech.

Samsung, in return, has requested that the Apple iPhone 5 and the iPad mini be removed from shelves.

Some Android users have fired back at Apple, brining up a 1994 interview with Steve Jobs during which he stated "good artists copy, great artists steal."

Others have also pointed out that the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is a Google operating system, which could mean that the battle has just expanded.
