Apple Watch 2 vs Moto 360 2: Comes With Improved Specs, Sports Version Made

Smartwatches are all the rave nowadays. Several tech brands have released their own versions including giants Apple and Motorola. The latest ones in their smartwatch product lines are the Apple Watch 2 and the Moto 360 2. But which of the two should people go for?

The Apple Watch 2 isn't out yet but several details have already surfaced giving fans a head start with what's to come with it. According to Alphr, the design of the second generation Apple will not have so many changes. But the source did say that it will be slightly thinner. The smartwatch is also designed to be more suitable for outdoor activities and sports and Apple is planning to do this by increasing its waterproof standard from IP67 to IPX7 rating.

The battery life will also be most likely similar to the current Apple watch so that users will continue to charge their smartwatches every day. And because the Watch OS 2 has already arrived, the upcoming smartwatch is guaranteed to have some improvements.

Tech Radar noted that it's likely that there will be enhancements with the native app support, the ability to watch videos and the tetherless Wi-Fi. Replying to emails and FaceTime audio calls straight from the watch will also be improved.

Meanwhile, the Moto 360 2 is also a promising one as it also brings great improvements. WT VOX reported that interested buyers can choose from the different design options. There are three watch cases and bezel colors available including silver, gold and black. It will also come with an easy strap system which allows the user to put in any watch band colors or material options.

Just like its Apple counterpart, the Moto 360 2 will have a version that is suited for outdoors or sports. The fitness-tracking features are new and can now read heart rate, estimate caloric consumption per day and even count the user's steps.

Apparently, both watches are made to surpass its predecessors. Parent Herald noted that the Apple Watch 2 may cost cheaper than the first one. However, reports say that the Moto 360 2 may cost a lot more because of the improvements made.
