April the Giraffe Giving Birth Live Stream, Latest News: No Further Physical Changes Yet, but Active Labor Situation Begins

The world has been following the dramatic saga that is April the giraffe's pregnancy, but it looks like the beloved animal is close to giving birth than she ever was.

Fans who have been closely monitoring it will remember that the zookeepers over at Animal Adventure Park, where she is being taken care of, updated on Facebook Sunday night that April the giraffe "seems to be moving around quite a bit."

They deem this a "good thing" because moms tend to get "very pacey" before and during birth. They believe that it is only a matter of time now before their "big girl" pops that baby out.

"We will see if it is any indication as to what is to come. All else is well," the zookeepers wrote, adding that April the giraffe has recently enjoyed some "yard time."

April also for the first time since the pregnancy "ventured out" of her enclosed pen that Sunday night after the zookeepers have been opening her door for weeks hoping for her to set foot out of her home.

Although all signs point to April the giraffe welcoming her little ones sooner rather than later, the latest update provided by Animal Adventure Park the morning of Monday, April 10, indicates that there is no "further physical change" yet and none is expected except for increased pacing, which will serve as signs that "an active labor situation has begun."

They advised fans of April the giraffe to "be watchful of behavioral changes" as pushing and contractions are expected to take place. That being said, it will not take long before the YouTube star will give birth.

Millions of people all over the world have been following April's journey. The Animal Adventure Park zookeepers set up a live stream so that they can be up to date about the beloved giraffe's situation.
