'Are You The One?' season 3: Most drama-packed installment yet
"Are You the One?" is only few weeks away from the premiere of its third season, which is touted to be the most drama-packed installment yet.
The dating experiment series Are You the One? will feature a new set of 10 men and women who have joined the show in a bid to find their perfect match with $1 million at stake. For the upcoming season 3, their path to finding their true love appears to be a rough one, according to the International Business Times (IBT).
The previous seasons of Are You the One? did not result in couples who succeeded in their relationship, except for Ethan Diamond and Amber Lee. After leaving the reality show, the two got hitched and had a baby girl after that, Realty Today reports.
The trailer for Are You the One? season 3 shows two contrasting group of scenes. First, the contestants are seen holding hands, exchanging sweet nothings, and sharing kisses. On the other hand, it also shows a different side of the competition in which some of the stars are throwing a fit, crying, and fighting.
The MTV experimental dating series, which will be set in a house in Hawaii, will push the contestants to their limits and will lead some to get physical. There will be some shoving, walking out, and other heated exchanges, the report relays.
In Are You the One?, the 20 single contestants will go through tests and dates and attempt to find their perfect match. What sets this season apart from the previous installments is that the contestant who fails to find a single true match every matchup ceremony will lose $250,000. On the fourth "blackout," the cast will lose the chance to split the grand prize, the report details.
"The couples will be forced to rule with their hearts, and not with their heads if they hope to succeed in love and money," IBT quotes MTV's synopsis.
Are You the One? season 3 will begin airing on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 11:00 pm EDT on MTV.
