Argentina vs Ecuador Live Stream Free: Watch Online World Cup 2014 Qualifier Football
Argentina will take on Ecuador in their World Cup 2014 Qualifier on Tuesday night with Argentina looking to get back on the winning path following a disappointing draw with Colombia last week.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 5 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
For Argentina, Gonzalo Higuain and Pablo Zabaleta are suspended, and Lionel Messi is still struggling for fitness.
That means that Argentina coach may use Jose Basanta in the middle of the defense, and Gino Peruzzi could replace Zabaleta.
Messi is expected to start on the bench again for this game, meaning in attack Sergio Aguero is likely to be partnered by Rodrigo Palacio.
It may also be the case that Angel Di Maria plays behind those front two in a supporting role, and to provide more options for the offense.
For Ecuador Felipe Caicedo is expected to regain his place in the starting line-up. The striker was injured for the Peru game with a muscle strain, but did make an appearance in the second half of that game. He is expected to start tonight and if so will partner Christian Benitez up front.
Ecuador are currently third in the qualifying standings; having won six, lost three and drawing two of their 11 qualifying games so far. However, all six of their victories have come at home and they have failed to record an away win yet.
In the last match between these two teams Argentina won comprehensively 4-0 thanks to goals from Gonzalo Higuain, Sergio Aguero (right), Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria.
