Arizona Wildcats vs Belmont Bruins Live Stream Free: Watch Online NCAA March Madness College Basketball (TV Schedule)
Arizona Wildcats vs Belmont Bruins takes place in the NCAA 2013 second round on Thursday night. The game will tip off at 7.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
No. 6 ranked Arizona will have to be on top of their game tonight if they are to win this one. In particular their defense will have to be tight, especially their perimeter defense. That is not beyond them however, as they have four players 6 foot 10 inches or over, where as Belmont do not have any starters taller than 6 foot 7 inches.
Kaleb Tarczewski will be a big player tonight - he is the team's leading rebounder at 6.1 per game, and if he continue that form then the Bruins will have a tough time.
The Wildcats are attempting to make their first Final Four appearance since 2001 this year, and if they are to do that they will need mark Lyons to be in top form throughout the competition. Lyons has experience on his side, with 7 NCAA games to his name already. However, he has underperformed on the big stage until now, averaging just 6 points over those 7 NCAA games. Outside that though, he is averaging 14.8 points per game this year, and if he can maintain that form Arizona could have the upper hand.
Meanwhile the No. 11 seeded Belmont Bruins are the Ohio Valley Conference champions, and are making their sixth appearance at the NCAA in the last eight years. However, they have never won an NCAA game yet. At every attempt in their previous five appearances they have lost at the round of 64 stage.
That statistic reveals what a David vs Goliath affair this will be.
