'Arrow' Season 2 Spoilers: 'It's Only Going to Get Worse Before It Gets Better'
On tonight's episode of CW popular show "Arrow" Roy begins a new journey. Roy will be training to be as superhero, but how will he handle training? Is he really cut out to be a superhero? For spoilers from Colton Haynes, the actor who plays Roy, read on.
Haynes recently sat down for an interview with TV Guide, where he discussed how Roy adapts to training at first.
"Originally, that had been everything that Roy wanted until he started being treated like a little lapdog. Right away, he's super excited he's getting to train, but he doesn't realize what the training is going to be. It's going to be a lot of slapping water and a lot of mental training as opposed to kicking everyone's a-- like he wants to do," the actor said.
Haynes teases that the training will not be a piece of cake for his character.
"It's only going to get worse before it gets better. Roy is on the path of hurting himself or hurting someone close to the Arrow, and I think that's going to cause Arrow to make some changes in his team lineup," he said.
And how will Roy's new path affect Thea? Haynes provided some insight into the future of Thea and Roy's interactions.
"Thea is about to get her world rocked by some news that Moira has been keeping from her pretty much her whole entire life. That's going to overshadow the effects of Roy's anger, but Thea is very concerned about Roy's well-being. There's also another thing coming up very soon that will cause another rift in Roy and Thea's relationship," he explained.
Tune in to The CW Wednesdays at 8/7c to catch "Arrow."
