'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers: Will Felicity Die? The Queens Ask Jessica to Forgo the Mayoral Election
After that major cliffhanger at the Season 4 premiere of The CW's superhero drama TV series "Arrow," fans may already be anticipating what's to come in the new episode which is expected to air this week.
For those who missed it, the season opener finds Oliver and Felicity enjoying the blissful domestic life away from Star City. Despite the comfort and safety, it was discovered that Felicity was still very much involved, in secret, with Team Arrow operations and planning.
However, with the complication of events, Thea and Laurel head over to Ollie and Felicity's place to beg the lovers to return and help them fight the "Ghosts."

But one of the most interesting revelations dropped towards the end of the primer is a flash forward scene. It can be deduced from the scene that a member of the team is dead six months into the future. Fans were quick to speculate that it could be Felicity. However, executive producer Wendy Mericle told TVLine (via RealtyToday.com) that nobody knows "who it is right now."
As it turns out, the writers are still trying to put together a plan for the rest of the season. Nonetheless, this piece of bad news is something that they have been looking forward to and they intend it "to have resonance" throughout the show.
"If it doesn't mean something to the characters, it won't mean anything to the audience either," she was quoted as saying.
The new episode, meanwhile, will introduce viewers to the Queens' old family friend, Jessica Danforth (guest star Jeri Ryan). The newcomer tells Ollie and Thea that it is her intention to run for a high office in the city. But it's not only Ollie who is quite worried of a possible outcome. Even Thea is afraid that their relative might also end up with the fate that the last three mayors had. Despite their pleadings, Jessica made her announcement and her safety now lies at the hands of the Green Arrow and the "Red Arrow" (Speedy).
