Vigilante vs. Prometheus? 'Arrow' Season 5 Heats Up
Oliver's (Stephen Amell) mayoral position will be in serious trouble when "Arrow" season 5 returns this week with episode 15, "Fighting Fire with Fire."
In the previous episode, it was discovered that Oliver instructed Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra) to cover up the involvement of the Green Arrow in the death of Detective Billy Malone (Tyler Ritter), which resulted in the call for his impeachment.
In the promo for "Arrow" season 5, episode 15, Oliver knows that losing the mayoral seat would mean Prometheus once again gets the better of them. However, there is another problem that arises from the revelation.

One of the people that caught wind of the news is the Vigilante, who comes after Oliver as seen in the promo for "Arrow" season 5, episode 15.
He attacks Oliver and knowing Vigilante, he will not hesitate to put a bullet into Oliver's head, even though he is the mayor of Star City, but it looks like Prometheus won't let him.
The promo for "Arrow" season 5, episode 15 shows Prometheus and Vigilante brawling it out, presumably for the privilege of killing Oliver.
Vigilante appears to just want to kill Oliver to end his "corruption" while Prometheus may have something else planned for the Green Arrow or he just simply wants to be the one to end his rival.
Either way, things will never be the same after "Arrow" season 5, episode 15. As if that was not enough, Susan Williams (Carly Pope) appears to be back on the job.
One of the promotional stills shows Oliver and her ex speaking to each other. Another image shows the journalist on the court during the mayor's hearing.
Last week's "Arrow" season 5 episode saw Susan confront Oliver about being the Green Arrow. Thea (Willa Holland) and Felicity (Emily Bett-Rickards) plotted to discredit her, which led to her being fired.
It is unclear what she will be up to in "Arrow" season 5, episode 15, but it looks like she might not think twice about exposing Oliver because in her mind, it is him who got her fired.
