'Arrow' Season 6 Spoilers, Cast: How Black Siren Will Change the Dynamics and Impact Earth-1 Laurel's Legacy
Stephen Amell has hinted what fans can expect of Black Siren (Katie Cassidy), the evil doppelgänger of Laurel Lance from Earth-2, in "Arrow" season 6.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he teased what would become of Black Siren and how the dynamics will change since Laurel is dead, as far as all of Star City knows. The actor teased:
She looks exactly like Laurel Lance, she is Laurel Lance. Laurel Lance is the most famous dead person in Star City, so eventually, at some point, if she is reintroduced into public life, how do we unpack that? I'm excited for that. That's the dynamic I think could be interesting.
Should this new Laurel continue her villainy ways in "Arrow" season 6, it will not be long before Star City learns what's up and believe that the Black Canary is not dead at all and has even gone rogue.
Cinema Blend believes that this could pave the way for "Arrow" to introduce the concept of multiverse although the show has shied away from becoming caught up with too much of the complicated nature of science fiction. After all, many believed that the failure of the fourth season was due to it being focused heavily on magic.
Of course, however, nothing is set in stone yet. For now, what is currently known is that Black Siren will be around for a while. Whether she will have a change of heart to be more like Laurel prime or not remains to be seen.
Interestingly, it is looking like "Laurel" will not be the only one coming back in "Arrow" season 6. Colton Haynes, who played Roy also known as Arsenal, teased on Twitter that his character is "coming back very soon," but did not elaborate on the details. Either way, it is looking for those who missed the red-clad hero.
"Arrow" season 6 premieres Oct. 12 on The CW.
