'Assassin's Creed: Origins' News: A Photo Mode Will Be Provided to Players

Just how detailed the Photo Mode will be is still unclear

Journeying along with Bayek in "Assassin's Creed: Origins" is being described as an exhilarating experience, but there may be times when the game can still deliver something special even when action-packed battles are not taking place.

Developers have chosen ancient Egypt as the backdrop for this latest installment in the series, and this location is one known for serving as the home to many truly spectacular sights.

The good news for players is that when they find a particular spot in the game they really like, they will be able to immortalize it via photography.

Spotted recently by Gamingbolt, director Ashraf Ismail shared over on Twitter that there will be a Photo Mode featured in "Origins."

As the website alluded to, Photo Modes have become more common these days, especially in open world games. This is why it does not really come as a shock that the latest installment in the "Assassin's Creed" series has followed suit.

Unfortunately, apart from confirming the introduction of Photo Mode, Ismail did not reveal anything else about it. This means fans will just have to stay tuned if they want to hear more about how Photo Mode will work inside the game.

Some fans have already expressed their approval of "Assassin's Creed: Origins" getting a Photo Mode, which makes sense given how many locations in the game could act as ideal backdrops for pictures.

The game's official website highlighted some of the notable locations players will be able to visit, such as the Nile Delta - a place teeming with life.

The White Desert may not be as hospitable to all kinds of creatures, but there is beauty to be uncovered even in this seemingly empty stretch of Egypt.

If players want to visit a busier location, they may then want to drop by the city of Alexandria.

Players will be able to visit those aforementioned locations and likely even take pictures while they are there as soon as "Assassin's Creed: Origins" is released on Oct. 27.
