'Assassin's Creed: Origins' News: Additional Details About NPCs and Looting Revealed
NPCs inside 'Assassin's Creed: Origins' can get into fights with one another
"Assassin's Creed: Origins" is going to give fans access to a new world that is not just spectacular and steeped in history, but one that is also populated by individuals who can help protagonist Bayek even unwittingly.
Previously, developers have already talked about how non-player characters are going to be more interesting in this upcoming installment of the franchise.
Speaking previously to GamesRadar, creative director Ashraf Ismail talked about how NPCs and the factions they belong to can lead to things getting more chaotic inside the game.
According to Ismail, if members of rival factions happen to run into one another, there is a good chance that a fight will break out.
Notably, Bayek does not even need to be an active participant in those brawls. Those faction fights can pop up regardless of his presence, though players can choose to get involved if they want to.
Now, more details about what may happen after those fights have been revealed.
More bits of information related to "Assassin's Creed: Origins" were included in a new issue of EDGE magazine, and some of the more interesting revelations have been posted on Facebook by Access the Animus.
Apparently, it is possible for players to stumble upon a camp where only dead bodies remain due to a fight having occurred there very recently. Though it may not be the most pleasant activity, players can take advantage of the opportunity in front of them and get the items left behind by those who have just been defeated in battle.
Since faction fights can take place in numerous areas, players may be well served to take a look around every now and then, as there may be valuable pieces of loot that they may be able to obtain easily.
"Assassin's Creed: Origins" is set to be released on Oct. 27.
