'Assassin's Creed: Origins' News: Players Can Expect Each Side Quest To Be Different
Devs also working to make side quests feel similar to the main undertakings in 'Origins'
Side quests provide players with other things to focus on separate from their main objectives, and there will be examples of them present in "Assassin's Creed: Origins."
While side quests can help flesh out a title even more, there are times when they can blend together and be so identical that going through them feels more like a chore as opposed to an adventure.
The developers of "Origins" are working against making the game's side quests feel that way, as they are planning to make each one that is available to players unique.
Spotted recently by Gamingbolt, director Ashraf Ismail took some time out to answer a few questions from fans over on Twitter.
One of the questions posed to Ismail was about side quests, with Twitter user "@eatersnake4" specifically asking if each one of them will be unique.
In response, Ismail said "Every side quest is unique."
That should come as pleasant news to prospective "Assassin's Creed: Origins" players as they may not have to deal with those copy-and-paste quests that have become so loathed.
This is not the first time that the developers of the upcoming game have touched on how they are handling quests.
Speaking previously to IGN, the developers shared that they are doing what they can to ensure that there is no noticeable drop-off between what a main quest is like and what a side quest provides. The two kinds of quests are still going to be different in some ways, but their overall production value is expected to be on the same level.
Notably, developers are also going to allow players to start or stop any quest at any time in the new game. This change should provide players with more freedom to tackle the game in the way they want to.
"Assassin's Creed: Origins" is set to be released on Oct. 27.
