'Assassin's Creed: Origins' Tips and Tricks: What Beginners Should Know Before Starting the Game

The much-awaited "Assassin's Creed: Origins" has finally arrived. And aside from Ubisoft's heavy teaser on the game's realistic images of real-life locations found around Egypt, fans of the franchise know by now that "Assassin Creed" titles come with challenging gameplay mechanics.

Thus it will be of great help to review several lists of tips and tricks that will aid players in advancing more quickly in the game.

Once starting any game, one of the player's goals is to level up as fast as possible. However, it is important to note that developers have applied a system in "Assassin's Creed: Origins" that would make leveling up slightly different from other games under the similar genre.

One key element in leveling up is for the main protagonist, Bayek, to finish as many missions and sidequests as possible to earn more XP. However, according to US Gamer, Bayek levels up even faster when earning points from finishing sidequests.

However, not all quests are available at once. Apart from checking on the map tap, players may also discover quests by exploring the game's open world environment.

Meanwhile, in dealing with enemies, players should always keep in mind that the game's title screams the word "assassin." This means that fighting enemies should be done the same way an assassin would -- as unpredictable as possible.

Added to that, GameSpot advised players to take their time in reviewing their enemies at hand before approaching them. Ubisoft introduced a new gameplay system in "Assassin's Creed: Origins" that designed enemies' powers by levels. This means that Bayek will need to be at a certain level to have the proper weapon and skills to defeat some foes.

Going back to Bayek being an assassin, the protagonist will be facing a horde of enemies while being alone. This will be a normal scene in the game so players need to strategize - and one helpful tip is to attack an enemy's camp by night.

"Assassin's Creed: Origins" was made available on Friday, Oct. 27, for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
