"Assassin's Creed Syndicate" Coming to PC Much Later than Console Versions
Perhaps game developers and publishers are learning from each other's mistakes when it comes to making sure that game versions for different platforms are at par with each other every time they are released. Ubisoft Games, the publisher behind the upcoming stealth-action video game, "Assassin's Creed Syndicate," seems to have picked up something from the recent experience of rival Warner Bros. when it released "Batman Arkham Knight" for the PS4, the Xbox One and PC, with the PC version containing the most number of bugs that "it was deemed unplayable," according to a report in GameSpot.
In line with this, Ubisoft has announced that the PC version of "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" will be released one month later than the console versions. The PS4 and the Xbox One versions will be out by October 23, while the PC version will start shipping by November 19. This is still earlier than what Ubisoft announced that the PC version will start selling in Holiday 2015.
According to a post in the Ubisoft blog, the reason for the delay is to make sure that the game is released without any bugs or problems. Sam Kovalev who is the production manager in charge of the PC version said, "We have introduced several new improvements to our production pipeline and validation process, which allowed us to focus on polishing, stabilising and optimising the PC version very early on in the project. This has been one of the top priorities for the production team this year." He also said that the additional four weeks will be dedicated to ensuring that the game's systems are "stable when it launches, so it runs smoothly for all players starting on day one."

The upcoming action-adventure title is part of the "Assassin's Creed" game franchise. This time around, the game is set in Victorian London and features assassins who are brother and sister. Ubisoft, as with its other game releases, has special promotional offers for gamers who are willing to pre-order the game.
