'Assassin's Creed Syndicate' Jack the Ripper DLC: Latest Trailer Confirms New Details and Release Date

Jack the Ripper is coming to "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" in a new DLC. The fresh content fast-forwards 20 years and puts players in the role of a character returning to London after the events of the main game.

During this time in the Victorian London era, a notorious serial killer known only as Jack the Ripper leaves a trail of mysterious murders that brings Jacob Frye's twin sister, Evie, back to the capital and deep into the dark underground world that is Whitechapel district. Using her silent, swift, invisible strike, and armed with new skills, she works with Scotland Yard inspector Frederick Abberline to investigate and hunt down Jack.

The Jack the Ripper DLC was announced back in September as one of the bonus contents included in the game's Season Pass, which sells for $29.99. In addition to Jack the Ripper, the Season Pass also includes six more exclusive contents. There's Streets of London gameplay pack that brings one hour of extra content such as new missions and fresh outfit, gears, and weapons. Then there's the Last Maharaja mission pack that features the exiled Duleep Singh as he fights the Templars to reclaim his heritage and rightful place as the Maharaja in 10 new missions. Meanwhile, in A Long Night, Jacob is on a mission to search and rescue a gang member. In addition, the Victorian Legends Pack and the Steampunk Pack give players access to top-tier wardrobe, gear, and weapons. The Season Pass also gives players a permanent XP boost.
