'Attack on Titan: Part 2 – End of the World' releases new trailer

"Attack on Titan" is considered one of the world's most favorite manga, or Japanese comic book, because it tells about one of the most compelling stories to have ever been created in recent times. The manga-turned-anime series tells about the story of how humans are trying to survive a world that is filled with Titans, or giant monsters with humanoid bodies. These Titans only eat humans and it is still unknown where they came from.

The anime has been translated this year into a live-action film that was split into two parts. Just recently, "Attack on Titan: Part 2 – End of the World" released its fittingly disturbing trailer that will surely get all the fans left unsettled.

The first movie ended with Eren Jaeger (Haruma Miura) escaping from a body of a Titan, when Mikasa Ackerman (Kiko Mizuhara) slashed its neck open. Eren had turned into a Titan after being eaten by another Titan, when he was trying to save his friend, Armin Arlert (Kanata Hongō).

The new trailer begins featuring the Colossal Titan emerging from the other side of the wall that protected humans from smaller Titans, and destroying it. The Titans attacked and devoured humans, eating and tearing their limbs apart. The humans fought back, using their cable devices to maneuver and slash the nape of the Titans, in order to stop these monsters from regenerating.

In the second part of the trailer, Eren was seen being held as a prisoner by other soldiers, and is questioned whether if he is still human or a now a Titan. Armin fought with the other soldiers telling them that Eren is humanity's last hope, and using Eren against the Titans might help them in finally solving the mystery of why the Titans exist.

The first Attack on Titan movie was considered as a financial and critical success, according to iDigitalTimes, and fans can't wait to see what's next.

The second installment of this worldwide phenomenon will premiere in theaters on Sept. 19.
