'Attack on Titan' Season 2: Voice Actor Yuki Kaji Talks New Season, Beast Titan
The first season of "Attack on Titan" did a good job of setting the scene and telling the stories of a lot of the main characters on the series. However, the second season will see other characters sharing the spotlight. Apart from that, the introduction of a new Titan is expected.
While speaking to ANIPLUS Asia, voice actor Yuki Kaji revealed what fans can look forward to in the upcoming season of the Japanese anime series. Kaji, known for voicing the role of Eren Yeager (Eren Jaeger on Funimation), teased that characters like Connie and Sasha will also get their fair share of screen time in season 2.
"Their backbones will come to light," Kaji said in the ANIPLUS interview. "Then we have Krista and Ymir. These two will also be portrayed as very important characters."

Directors Araki Tetsuro and Koizuka Masashi previously revealed the same thing when they spoke to Newtype Magazine. They also shared that season 2 will have a lot more horses than the first.
Additionally, the new season will see the inclusion of the Beast Titan, who was already featured in the manga series from which the anime is based. According to Comicbook.com, the Beast Titan, like Eren, is shape shifter. It was revealed in the manga that the Beast Titan is actually Zeke Yeager, Eren's older half-brother and eventual enemy.
"Given the information that was released with the PV, I guess there's the Beast Titan," Kaji revealed. "Like I said earlier, Season 2 has a pretty different image and impact, and he's a very important character in that respect."
Fans are undoubtedly excited to see the Beast Titan in all his glory. But it should also be noted that the Beast Titan will be an exceptional challenge for the Survey Corps since he is as smart as he is horrifying.
"Attack on Titan" season 2 will premiere in April.
