Wit Studio is ramping up the hype for the premiere of "Attack on Titan" season 2 next month. Its latest treat to fans comes in the form of stills from the new season.
In the latest issue of PASH magazine, screens from "Attack on Titan" season 2 were featured. The first one showed Reiner and Bertolt, who will go on to play a big role in the new season.
There was also an image featuring an older and more mature-looking Krista, who will have an important part in the events of the new season.

These three characters will be vital in the development of the story in "Attack on Titan" season 2, which will be based on the story arcs in the manga, particularly the ones that followed "The Female Titan."
This means that "Attack on Titan" season 2 will include the "Clash of Titans" and "The Uprising" story arcs, which will see a dangerous breach of Titans in Wall Rose.
Major revelations about the identities of some characters will be made while death for some unfortunate souls will be inevitable in "Attack on Titan" season 2. There was also an image of Erwin on the magazine, which fans on Reddit loved as it showed a slightly different look for the character.

There is no word on how many the episodes will be this season. The first season, which aired in 2013, had 25 and covered the first four story arcs of the manga by Hajime Isayama.
It is being reported that "Attack on Titan" season 2 will catch up with the source material although Wit Studio is yet to confirm that.
