Avril Lavigne Shares Wedding Details Amid Pregnancy Rumors

Avril Lavigne recently opened up about her upcoming wedding to fiance Chad Kroeger following ongoing speculation that the couple is expecting a child.

During an interview on KIIS-FM's "On-Air with Ryan Seacrest," the "Sk8er Boi" singer revealed that her wedding to Kroeger, who is the lead vocalist and guitarist for the Canadian rock band Nickelback, will be big. The pair is yet to reveal their wedding date.

"It's going to be quite spectacular, and there's a theme to it. We're going pretty big, but Chad doesn't even know everything," Lavigne told Seacrest.

Lavigne, 28, also shared a romantic gesture she has planned on the couple's big day. The couple's love affair first began in the studio while Kroeger, 38, worked with the singer on songs from her forthcoming album and this will play a role in their nuptials, according to People magazine.

"I'm going to take the lyrics from the sheet music from one of our songs and wrap it around the wedding cake," Lavigne shared.

The punk-rock singer raised eyebrows while shooting the video for her latest single "Here's To Never Growing Up" in Los Angeles Sunday. Lavigne wore a puffy blue dress, which had fans wondering whether the maternity style was used deliberately to conceal a possible baby bump.

Lavigne previously dodged pregnancy questions at her Abbey Dawn fashion show in New York City.
When asked by a reporter whether she is pregnant Lavigne nervously responded with "Ahh … are you!?" before walking away, according to The New York Post.

Kroeger presented Lavigne with a 14-carat diamond ring in August while asking for her hand in marriage. He opened up about being nervous about her reaction.

"You can travel the world and sing songs to thousands of people and not have your heartbeat raised at all," Kroeger said. "You get down on one knee and commit yourself to a woman for the rest of your life. I was very nervous!"
