'Bachelor in Paradise' ends with a bang as Tanner and Jade get engaged

In the season finale of "Bachelor in Paradise," fans were left stricken not only with Kirk's decision that left poor Carly broken but also with the sudden engagement of a new couple.

The season was packed with six weeks of nonstop drama, as well as the never-ending breakups and confusing exchanges between Joe and Samantha and Jared and Ashley I. Although many fans did not seem to let go of the two relationships, the most-talked-about couples are now the ones who made the finale a hit.

Jade and Tanner just met three weeks back, thus the speculation of some fans that the two only decided to end the season with a big bang, but the truth is they aren't really in love. The couple immediately came to each other's defense, stating that the short time they spent together was like "nine months of real dating," as Tanner said in an interview with People.

As the new couple celebrate, fans are still dumbfounded on the Kirk-Carly tragedy. The two were already together since day one of the show, and while no one saw the breakup coming despite hints in teasers, Celeb Dirty Laundry suggests that the general thinks Kirk only used Carly and "pretended" to "want" to be with her so he can keep the relationship going and make his stay in the reality TV show much longer.

Meanwhile, other members of the cast are doing well. According to E! Online, Nick and Samantha are still together, and after the couple left "Paradise," they have been going on a couple of vacations together.

Cassandra, after accepting Justin's rose, has revealed that she is now dating Jonathan, who left Paradise in week 2, and just like Cassandra, has a kid.

Back to the couple who made the finale a wonder, credits at the end of the episode claim that Jade and Tanner will tie the knot somewhere in Mexico next summer.
