'Bachelor' Sean Lowe, Catherine Giudici Move to Dallas Ahead of Televised Wedding
"Bachelor" Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici recently moved to his hometown of Dallas together and the pair is said to be happier than ever.
The "Bachelor" season 17 couple had been residing in Los Angeles following 29-year-old Lowe's season finale proposal and they are now living together in Texas ahead of their upcoming wedding. Lowe is expected to wed Giudici, 26, in a televised wedding ceremony to air on the ABC network.
"They've finally made the move to Dallas as of this week," a friend of the pair's told Life & Style magazine. "They're really happy together and excited to start their new life."
Giudici, who is a graphic designer originally from Seattle, previously opened up about her first visit to Dallas. The Amazon employee instantly fell in love with the Christian entrepreneur's family.
"I loved it. His family and friends are to die for and I love them so much," she said in July. "It was a very grounding experience for both of us and gave us a glimpse of what our life would actually be like there."
Lowe gushed about taking his bride-to-be to his hometown, revealing that she is adjusting well down South.
"It was wonderful. I tried to give her like a broad overview of what Dallas is about," he shared. "I think she got a taste of Dallas."
Lowe and Giudici will become the fourth "Bachelor" franchise couple to wed on TV. They will follow in the footsteps of "Bachelorette" star Trista Rehn and husband Ryan Sutter, who starred in "Trista & Ryan's Wedding" among others. Lowe explained his decision to go ahead with a televised wedding.
"TV certainly has its advantages. As I've said a number of times, a free wedding is always a good thing and you can create the wedding of your dreams, all her dreams, then you don't have to sit back and worry about the budget and freak out about stuff like that, so I think there are advantages to both — either it being televised or private," he said.
"We've always said our relationship started on TV, so we may as well solidify it on TV. Hopefully we'll have a date sometime soon," he added.
