'Bachelorette' Season 9: Dancer Cheryl Burke Confirmed?
"Dancing With The Stars" professional dancer Cheryl Burke recently addressed reports that she may be joining ABC dating show "The Bachelorette," and she admitted that she is eager to star in the popular reality TV show.
Burke, 28, has been listed as a potential pick to star in season nine of the hit show, which is a spinoff of "The Bachelor." The California native confirmed that while she had a meeting with producers, she has not yet received a formal offer, according to Us magazine.
"I did meet with the execs but we'll see what happens. There hasn't been a firm offer, but if they offer it to me I would love to do it," Burke recently told Us.

"It sounds crazy, but I'm so married to my work that I rarely meet new people! I'm around the same people all the time, I've been on this show for nearly a decade," she said with reference to "DWTS."
The reality TV franchise, which first debuted in 2002, acts as a dating game show where female contestants compete for the love of an eligible bachelor and since 2003, an eligible "Bachelorette" has also been created in a spinoff show which caters to male contestants.
The show's season finale will often feature a marriage proposal, although many past winners have failed to sustain their relationships after the show.
Burke was once romantically linked to former NFL star Chad Ochocinco, and more recently, NHL star Joffrey Lupul. She claims that her dating disasters have motivated here to become the next "Bachelorette."
"Over the summer I dated a couple of guys and it turned out all bad, so I just figured if someone were to make the choice for me then maybe I'd have a better chance of meeting someone good!" Burke said.
Burke could join the likes of former "Bachelorette" stars Emily Maynard and Ali Fedotowsky, although both women eventually called off their engagements.
