Baltimore Ravens NFL News 2015: Head of Security That Defended Ray Rice Accused of Sexual Harassment
The Baltimore Raven's Senior Security Director was charged with a sexual crime on Tuesday.
Dareen I. Sanders allegedly groped a woman and pressed her against the stadium after a game. The documents filed on Baltimore City District Court revealed that Sanders allegedly kissed the woman on the neck and forced her to touch his genitals.
According to the court documents, the woman worked at M & T Bank Stadium and was tasked to escort the security officer after the Raven's game against the Jaguars on Dec. 14.

"He hit and/or groped her buttocks more than once as they walked down the third level hallway," the woman confessed to Baltimore police Sgt. Kerry Snead.
The documents reported that a witness saw the incident and the victim told several co-workers about the offense.
In response to the charge, Ravens Senior Vice President of Public and Community Relations Kevin Byrne released a statement.
"We are aware of the situation and have been investigating thoroughly," Byrne said.
Sanders denied the accusation through his lawyer.
"He is innocent and looks forward to his day in court," the attorney wrote in a statement.
"Mr. Sanders has worked his entire career to keep others safe as a police officer and as a detective with the Baltimore City Police Department and currently as the senior security director for the Baltimore Ravens. He is a man who possesses tremendous integrity, and he has worked to ensure public safety by protecting the health, welfare and security of the community," the statement said.
Early this year, Sanders was affiliated with Baltimore Ravens player Ray Rice's physical assault charge. The security officer responded to an ESPN report that the team covered the incident for Rice's benefit. Sanders said that Rice denied to him that he was involved in the assault.
Meanwhile, a hearing is set for the sexual offense case on Feb. 9, 2015.
