Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid live stream, start time: Watch UEFA Champions League online
It's an all-Spain affair.
Two of the top teams in the Spanish La Liga lock horns in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals as FC Barcelona meet Atletico Madrid.
To be played at Camp Nou, the first leg is on April 5, 2016 at 2:45 PM ET.
Easily one of the best games in the quarters, the top European competition places two of the three Spanish squads together for what is predictably an intense affair.
Both are very familiar with each other and are looking to get an early advantage with a big win in the first leg.
Undoubtedly, the Catalans hold the advantage of playing at home but Atletico are a competitive bunch who have the talent to possibly challenge the best team in Europe at the moment.
To book their place in the quarters, Atletico had to go through PSV Eindhoven in the previous round and were extremely challenged.
Their high octane offence was put on hold as they failed to score in the first leg to prepare for an intense battle at home.
Unfortunately, they were still unable to break the PSV defence in the second leg as both teams settled for a goalless draw.
It needed to go to a penalty shootout to determine who moves on and in front of their home crowd, Atletico did not buckle under the pressure.
PSV also hit their first seven penalties to keep the pressure on Madrid, but the Spanish outfit were better that night as they did not miss any attempt to book their place in the quarters.
On the other hand, Barcelona handled English club Arsenal in their previous round as they took a big 2-0 victory in their away leg.
At home, they kept the pressure and won that game as well to take a 5-1 aggregate win to set-up an all-Spanish quarterfinal battle.
