Barcelona vs Bayern Munich: Live Stream, Start Time, Watch UEFA Champions League Online
European powers collide in the UEFA Champions League semifinals as Barcelona and Bayern Munich face-off for a place in the tournament finale. The first leg of their match is on May 6, 2015 at 2:45 p.m. and will be at Camp Nou.
Barcelona booked their place in the semifinals by eliminating Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain in the quarters. Dominating both legs, the Catalans won away from home 3-1, before finish the job at home and winning 2-0 to advance behind a 5-1 aggregate.
They have been excellent in all competitions as they currently lead the Spanish La Liga table by two points over rivals Real Madrid with only a handful of matches remaining.
If they hold on to win the league, completing a double with the European title, their fifth in history, will be a great accomplishment for the squad.
However, the mighty Bayern Munich stand in their way.
Munich are gunning for their sixth European title and last won the competition two years ago. They are also doing well in their domestic league as they lead the Bundesliga table by 14 big points with less than 10 matches remaining in their schedule.
Unlike Barcelona, Munich faced some adversity before reaching the semifinals when they faced Porto.
They surprisingly lost the first leg 3-1 and were questioned whether they can turn things around and make-up the deficit when the return leg was played at the Allianz-Arena. In typical Munich fashion, they displayed how great of the team they were by thrashing their rivals 6-1 at home, eventually winning the tie on 7-4 aggregate score.
Now that they hold that distinction of having one of the best turnarounds in the tournament's history, Bayern should try and use that as a catalyst to beat one of the best teams in the world.
