'Basketball Wives' Recap: Evelyn and Jennifer Reconcile, Shaunie Leaving? (VIDEO)

The "Basketball Wives" reunion special left some viewers shocked and teary-eyed when friends-turned-enemies Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams reconciled their friendship on the show.

The pair, who have reportedly been best friends for 14 years, both took polygraph tests which ultimately revealed that despite their ongoing feud, they had both missed one another.

The show's host, John Salley, eventually brought the sobbing co-stars together on stage where they shared an intimate hug.

"I don't wanna do this here, " Williams whispered to Lozada and the pair exchanged nods before returning to their seats.

"I miss her. We were friends for 10 years. I was in her wedding, so you know yeah, and your thinking you guys are going to do this show together, your BFF, and then you're kind of like 'what happened'?" Lozada said in a recent interview with Vibe magazine.

"And we are mutual friends with a lot of people, so everything else became weird energy. It was tough," she added.

Prior to the reconciliation, which all of their co-stars applauded, Shaunie O'Neal attempted to talk Williams, 39, out of her lawsuit against Lozada's assistant Nia Crooks.

Crooks, a Harlem resident, assaulted Williams during a prior episode that prompted the divorced reality star to file a criminal complaint which has upset VH1 and Shed Media executives. They reportedly argue that Williams was wrong to enforce legal action against Crooks.

"We're talking about someone who was your friend and granted it was wrong on all accounts, we take it very serious but I wouldn't wanna see any of ya'll go to jail over a mistake that you made that nobody died," O'Neal said as Williams interjected.

"You've proven your point boo. If Nia Apologizes why can't you let that go? Why would you wanna see your friend go to jail for a year?" Shaunie asked.

A defiant Williams refused, insisting that no one has a right to criticize her decision to enforce legal action because they were not victims of the assault.

"It didn't happen to you! Everyone can have an opinion [but] it didn't happen to them," Williams shot back.

"It's been four months ... when it happened [Nia] got on Twitter, was bragging about it. Now because it's a criminal situation now you wanna apologize? It's not genuine!" she added.

Williams' co-star Tami Roman, who is notorious for bullying her co-stars on the Vh1 show, also chimed in, insisting that Williams drop the case but was unsuccessful.

Salley questioned Roman about her infamous feud with newcomer Kesha Nichols during a trip to the island of Tahiti and the 41-year-old insisted that while her delivery was wrong, she stands by her message.

"I wasn't looking for [Kesha] to fight me back I was just looking for her to stand up for herself," Roman said.

"All I've seen about Kesha is her talk about people, say things behind people's backs, and never approach anything to a person's face and then run away ... every single time. So for me it was just like, 'you said you were gonna go off on me go off!'" she added.

Nichols, who recently blasted the show as being a poor example for black women, maintained that she did not want any trouble and criticized Roman for her bullying antics.

"I said I could have, I didn't say I wanted to ... I didn't wanna go there," Nichols told Roman adding that "I'm not gonna get into a physical altercation in my adult life."

While O'Neal, who is the ex-wife of former NBA star Shaquille O'Neal, confirmed that the controversial show has been renewed for a fifth season, the reality star and TV producer recently acknowledged that the show is "out of control."

"It is always going to be drama because it is women together. There's always going to be some 'you don't like what she said,' we're always going to get that, but I think the level of where it is going is out of control," O'Neal told The Insider.

"I have no problem walking away from the franchise," she added.
