He does not believe in the suicide theory, rather he suspects that his stepson is responsible for the dead body.
In complete denial over his mother's death, Norman pushes everyone away, including his brother Dylan (Max Thieriot), who doesn't even know about the incident. Desperately, he digs up Norma's body and brings it back home.

What To Expect In Season 5
Romero is confused and stuck in the moment in his quest for revenge over Norma's death. While Dylan and Emma (Olivia Cooke) are successfully starting a new life together. There will be events for Dylan to follow that will lead him back to his family's path.
For Carlton Cuse, the great thing about Season 5 is that the love for everybody is still centered at Norma Bates. He also added that Norma is still present in everybody's lives. This makes the story so lovely next year sending a message that the people we cherish and hold close to our hearts will remain in us even after they die.
In fact, Norma Bates will not be out on the next season. She will remain with a modified role. This is a must-see scenario and something to look forward to.
Now this will be a perfect time for Vera to use her gifts. Being a hallucination, Vera is engaged in the series as it goes. Having this ride with Norman, it seems so real for him looking at things through his eyes.
Just like any other series-ender, there are always questions on what happens next. When can we expect season 5 to be released? "Bates Hotel" fans need to wait a little longer since there is no specific date yet as to when the series will come out.
Executive producers Kery Ehrin and Carlton Cuse reported that Bates Hotel will definitely be back next year for its fifth and final season.
A&E has also added that fans will have to brace themselves for the last run since it will come out around next spring. This being reported is a long and agonizing wait. All the questions need to be parked for now while waiting for the next season to hit the small screen.
