'Bates Motel' Season 4 Spoilers: Trailer Shows Norman Checking out of Mental Hospital, Norma Suspects Bob Paris for House Break-In
An all-new episode of "Bates Motel" is coming up in A&E and it's going to be an intense one based on the promo trailer released. According to a report by International Business Times, season 4 episode 5 titled "Refraction" will air on Monday, April 11 and will show Norman (Freddie Highmore) opening up more to Dr. Gregg Edwards (Damon Gupton).
The source stated that Norman will admit to the doctor that he might be crazy. But though he will be sharing more, he will still be limiting the information that he will be revealing to him. As seen on the trailer released, Dr. Edwards tells Norman that he never wants him to feel alone anymore. It was then followed by a quick scene of Norman hiding under the bed, which could possibly be a flashback moment to the time when he was still going through the abuse of his father.
It also revealed that Norman will be checking out of the institution as he believes that instead of helping him, the doctor has made his situation worse. He is seen in the trailer carrying suitcases which means that he will be able to successfully get out. Moreover, Dylan (Max Thieriot) will be telling Norman something that he needs to know. It's not known yet what it would be but Christian Today reported that speculations point to Dylan telling Norman about moving away with Emma (Olivia Cooke), whom Norman have grown feelings with. For someone who could not handle such news, it's expected that Dylan's life will be in trouble with what Norman would do about it.
Design and Trend also reported that a sneak peek of the episode showed Norma (Vera Farmiga) thinking that Bob Paris (Kevin Rahm) was the one who broke into her house. As she and her new husband Sheriff Romero (Nestor Carbonell) clean up the place, Norma suggests to him that it was Bob. However, Romero brushed off her idea saying that it wasn't him. And he's sure about that because Romero let Bob's corpse sink into the sea.
