'Bates Motel' Series Star Clarifies Season 5 Rumor; Season 4 Episode 5 Details Revealed
A&E's hit psychological horror drama TV series "Bates Motel" Season 4 took the week's off and instead will be returning next Monday, April 11. Despite the hiatus, news about the show is still surfacing online. The first tackles about the show's rumored renewal for Season 5 while the other talks about Episode 5.
On Monday, series star Freddie Highmore addressed the issue about the alleged fifth installment. In an interview with Hey U Guys, the actor who plays the infamous character Norman Bates, seems to give the impression that a Season 5 will certainly be happening.
"We now know we're doing five seasons of the show and that's sort of official," the 24-year-old English actor said. "We're now sort of racing towards an end point that the writers have established. Which is incredibly exciting and there's no holding back now. I always sort of say that every season is the best but it really is the case on this one."

Highmore, meanwhile, went on to tease the exciting developments that are expected to unfold in the remainder of Season 4. He said that fans should be on the lookout on the growing tension between his character and Nestor Carbonell's Sheriff Romero.
"No matter what [Norman and Norma] will always have to be together," he said. "That pits Norman against Sheriff Romero this season and their rivalry develops."
For the meantime, a spoiler report from International Business Times said that Episode 5 "Refraction" will see Norman trying to open up with Pineview's resident psychologist, Dr. Edwards (Damon Gupton).
A promo video, which is also shared by the network, shows Gregg encouraging the patient to confide.
"I never want you to feel alone here," Edwards said.
Succeeding scenes, however, revealed that things are not exactly looking up for the "Psycho" character.
"It's your job to make me feel better, not worse!" the youngster confronted the man.
