'Batman Arkham Knight' News: Recap Of November Content, Refunds For PC Version Being Given Out
The 2015 action-adventure video game "Batman: Arkham Knight" developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment was released for current generation consoles and PC last June 23. While the console versions of the game sold very well and were well-received by game reviewers, the game's PC version was another matter. The PC version had numerous technical issues that despite the game developer's attempts to fix them, they still persisted. To date, the PC version has been re-launched after several fixes but the game still had major technical issues. Rocksteady has instead opted to offer full refunds for the game as well as the Season Pass to appease those who purchased the PC version, according to a report in Venture Capital Post.
Those players who already purchased the Season Pass, on the other hand, will have loads of content coming to them. According to a report in Polygon, Rocksteady detailed the content that was still arriving in the last two months of the year. October content has already been released and it included among others a Batmobile pack inspired by the Batman TV series as well as a 1970s Batman themed Batmobile skin. The November content brings the game another batch of story and augmented reality (AR) challenges for Arkham Episodes: Catwoman's Revenge and A Flip of a Coin, which is said to feature Robin. Various new skins are also available, like the pack inspired by the 2016 Batman v Superman movie, and the packs inspired by Robin and the Riddler.
The December content, however, features the Season of Infamy DLC, which is a major expansion pack for the game. It will be featuring four missions which feature several villains such as Killer Croc, Mister Freeze, Mad Hatter and Ra's Al Ghul. According to a Yibada report, Ra's Al Ghul makes an interesting return to the game, as in the previous storyline, he was already presumed dead. In the upcoming DLC, he will return in the "Shadow War" mission where Batman will need to team up with Azrael in order to defeat Ra's Al Ghul and his League of Assassins.
In related news, rumors are already circulating that Warner Bros. may be considering a continuation of the "Arkham" series, especially after it encountered issues with the PC version of the "Arkham Knight."
