'Batman: The Enemy Within' News: 'The Pact' New Trailer Shows a More Commanding Harley Quinn
Harley Quinn makes quite an impression on Bruce Wayne in a new trailer for "The Pact," the upcoming episode for "Batman: The Enemy Within."
The Suicide Squad member will officially be part of the episodic point-and-click graphic adventure video game via the second chapter releasing next month.
In the "Batman: The Enemy Within" clip shared by IGN, John Doe, who is set to become The Joker in the game, introduces Bruce to the person he is in love with.
Harley then catches Bruce off guard by putting a gun to his head the minute he steps into the car with her "Puddin." He successfully grabbed the gun from her before she can use it to "redecorate the windshield with [his] noodle."
Fans will notice in the trailer that there is a big change in the dynamics of Harley and Joker's relationship in "Batman: The Enemy Within." Unlike in the comics, the version of the villainess in the game seems to be more in charge this time around, which many fans seem to be on board with.
As she pointed the gun at Bruce, Harley can be heard saying, "Stay out of this, Puddin. Grown-ups are talking" to shut John up after he calls her out for threatening Bruce, which he did.
This is also part of the creative tweaks that Telltale Games is implementing on "Batman: The Enemy Within" as they try to add their own personal touch to it while keeping the core features the characters are known for.
Fans also seem to love the voice work done by Laura Post for Harley Quinn in "The Pact" as it sounds more mature than sweet and cartoony.
"The Pact" will be released on "Batman: The Enemy Within" for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Oct. 3. A full trailer for the episode is coming today, Sept. 26.
