'Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice' News: Jason Momoa to Appear as Aquaman, Ben Affleck Talks Film

Zach Snyder has been doing a very good job at keeping any spoilers for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" tightly under wraps as very little is known about the film's plot. Though recent pictures have teased tiny details about the film — such as the release of the Batmobile photo — nothing else is known about the much-anticipated movie.

Recently, it was announced that Jason Momoa has signed a contract to join the cast, and according to Batman News, he will be playing the role of Aquaman. He joins other superheroes Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot).

The website also reports that filming is taking place at an abandoned mansion in Detroit which could be the Wayne Mansion. A source of the website sent them photos of the mansion called the Ransom Gillis House, and the source claims that a crew was seen setting up and that the security guard confirmed that it was for the "Batman v Superman" film.

In other news, Affleck spoke with the Boston Globe about the film, though he was careful not to drop any spoilers.

"I can tell you that I'm very excited and it's very exciting," said Affleck.

"I can tell you that in my entire career, I haven't had so many people come up to me and say how much they're looking forward to the movie. Naturally, that's a lot of pressure, but I love the script, I love the director, I love the studio. I'm very much looking forward to it, but it's two years away so it probably doesn't bear talking about anymore," he added.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will premiere on March 25, 2016.
