'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' rumors latest: New trailers to each focus on the two heroes?
In about six months, the most epic mega superhero battle will hit the DC world, and with many rumors and speculations surrounding the upcoming movie, new trailers just might be a good compensation for the waiting crowd.
Recent rumors suggest that there will be two different teasers, plus an official second trailer, to be revealed in the next months. According to Heroic Hollywood, Warner Bros. is in talks of releasing one-minute teasers that will each shine the spotlight on the two leads.
According to the report, one teaser will focus on the Dark Knight and will be linked to Fox's "Gotham," while the other teaser will revolve around Superman and his connection to "Supergirl," which will make its premiere on CBS this Oct. 26.
Movie News Guide suggests that the two teasers' main goal would be to show fans both sides of the "accuser and accused" in the upcoming movie, which remains a topic of debate among fans, particularly on the issue of which superhero has the more justified reasons in the battle.
The rumor also says a second official trailer will be released during the Thanksgiving season in November, which will reportedly reveal a connection to "Creed," which is also releasing on the same month. Other rumors indicate that the trailer might also be attached to either "Spectre" or "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2."
Comic Book adds that probably the reason why the two teasers will be released is to further add fire to the "Supergirl" and "Gotham" television rivalry. Since "Supergirl" won't be airing in its usual time slot, fans of both shows can still see the teasers.
The outlet notes that it is a wise decision to link both teasers to each of the shows that actually have a role to play in the "Batman v Superman" movie since the characters have a significant part in the lives of the two heroes.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits the big screen on March 25, 2016.
