'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' to feature equal appearances for both superheroes?
It was reported that the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is going to feature equal appearances between the two superheroes.
Reports stated that Warner Bros. is to give Batman more onscreen time compared to Superman. This left fans outraged as the title implied equal portrayal of the two. However, it does seem possible that this will happen due to the success of the Batman franchise compared to the Superman franchise. Unlike Christopher Nolan's Batman films, the previously released "Man of Steel" did not portray the same level of success. Nevertheless, these details were still not confirmed by Warner Bros.
The film has been receiving several rumors ever since its announcement last 2013. With that, director of the film, Zack Synder, recently spoke to Yahoo! about the film, addressing his thoughts about the plentiful rumors surrounding the film. Synder revealed that he was not at all bothered by the rumors and spoilers. He said, "There are so many, it's insanity. It's funny because every now and then someone will touch on something that's kind of true, but the next thing they say makes me realize that they took a wild guess. They'll say something and I'll say 'Oh snap, they must have seen the script.' And then they'll say, 'And this happens!' And then I'll go, 'They have no idea what they're talking about."
He further mentioned that there were some stories he read that were completely off from his plans. For example, it was reported that his son, Eli Snyder, will be taking on a role in the upcoming film. The rumors stated that he will be played Robin alongside Batman. He stated, "There's a rumor that my son is [playing] Robin. It's not true. Now there are all these images of him that people have made where he's dressed like Robin. It's fun to hear and see them."
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is expected to hit theaters by Mar. 25, 2016.
