'Batman v Superman' Rumors: Doomsday Isn't the Only Threat?

In what could be one of the most shocking reveals yet for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," another "larger threat" than Doomsday is on the way to put Batman and Superman in the dark.

According to Cosmic Book News, French magazine Premiere had the chance to talk to production designer Patrick Tatopoulos and the executive reportedly discussed some details about Doomsday and a second villain.

While it is normal for movies to integrate more than one villain, the rumor comes as a surprise to many fans, especially since comic book geeks know Doomsday very well from "Death of Superman" and he is seen as one of the biggest threats that could stop the tracks of Henry Cavill's Superman.

According to the outlet, Tatopoulos said, "Doomsday is an evolution essentially," further explaining that production has come up with a "new way" to show how the villain will affect Superman and Batman's battle.

The designer also added that fans will have to watch out for a more intense story line since "Doomsday isn't just the final act." This means that if Doomsday will join hands with another villain to put an end to "Dawn of Justice," it might be the end of DC's two biggest heroes.

Meanwhile, Comic Book Movie says it seems that the outlet "fabricated" the story all together, noting that while Cosmic Book is known to create scoops for upcoming movies, it appears that Premiere might not have had a chat with the production designer.

On the other hand, the rumor is something that will spice up the interest of fans who are waiting patiently for the movie to release. Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman against Doomsday and another unstoppable villain paves the way for one of the best movie endings in the history of big screens.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to premiere on March 25, 2016.
