Batmobile Appears in Joker and Harley Quinn 'Suicide Squad' Car Chase (VIDEO)
The Batmobile made an appearance on the "Suicide Squad" set in a car chase scene with the Joker and Harley Quinn, giving rise to a major spoiler for the upcoming Warner Bros. film.
A recent car chase scene shot with Jared Leto's the Joker and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn in the Joker's vehicle showed the Batmobile in hot pursuit, revealing a massive spoiler for DC Entertainment's "Suicide Squad."
According to IGN, it was reported Ben Affleck showed up at the "Suicide Squad" Toronto set in April, and when Batman's car made an appearance during filming this week, fans put two and two together and surmised the caped avenger would have a part, or at the very least, a cameo, in the August 5, 2016 anti-hero film.
Affleck is set to appear as Batman in the DC Comics cinematic universe film, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" on March 25 next year, just five months before "Suicide Squad" hits U.S. theaters.
While Batman's presence in the film has yet to be officially announced, a revealing piece of information surfaced in a film sequence shot over the weekend showed a chase scene between the Joker's purple Lamborghini and Batman's slightly modified Batmobile on the streets of Toronto.
The drivers of both iconic vehicles weren't visible during the car chase despite a number of Instagram videos posted on social media, and onlooker reports of the shoot. Screen Crush surmises the cars were likely driven by Leto, Robbie, and Affleck's stunt doubles for the sequence.
The appearance of the Batmobile in and by itself, represents a big spoiler in a film that's been heavily teased on director David Ayer's Instagram. However, until the actual trailer for "Suicide Squad" is released, Batman or Bruce Wayne's appearance may have to remain conjecture.
