Battlefield 4's newest DLC, Naval Strike, launched for non-premium users on Tuesday, and is available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
The expansion previously came out on March 25 for the PS3, PS4, and Xbox 360. The Xbox One version was launched on the 28th because "issues in the animation system that hinder players from engaging targets in set circumstances using popular weapon configurations," DICE wrote on their site. Lastly, the PC version was released on March 31. These were all made available to premium subscribers.
Naval Strike DLC contains unique features, including changing weather patterns, dusk to dawn fights, and of course, a hovercraft.
"There'll be calm seas, stormy weather and many other weather effects," a post on the Battlefield Blog said. "For instance, on the Mortar Strike map, you'll start fighting at dawn and the map will be lit up by the resort lights. As the fight rages on, the sunrise will drench the tropical island in beautiful sunlight."
Naval Strike's Carrier Assault Mode is a throwback to Titan Mode in Battlefield 2142.
The DLC takes place in the South China Sea, and involves two teams attacking each others aircraft carriers, reported Polygon. The battle takes place on three fronts, sky, land, and sea.
