EA Games posted a teaser visual of their upcoming "Battlefield Hardline Premium" on their Facebook page yesterday in line with its mid-March release.

Developed by Visceral Games, the first shooter franchise focuses on inner city battles fought by cops and criminals. With news emerging the game has "gone gold," meaning initial development has been completed after beta version, fans should expect "Battlefield Hardline" to be headed for mass production and displayed on digital shelves next month.

The game is still weeks away from official release, however, while Visceral is said to be implementing changes that involve weapon tweaks and other improvements. As with EA's "Battlefield 3," the Premium will give gamers a season pass to access all future DLC pack releases, as well as in-game perks that include Battlepacks, and cosmetic shoulder patches at a lower price.

Earlier in February, over 7 million gamers participated in EA's beta version of "Battlefield Hardline," playing cops and robbers in single and multiplayer modes.

The online-heavy game that focuses on the police's war on crime has been rated M for Mature, and features extreme violence, blood and gore, profanity, and drug use. Players enjoy access to military-grade vehicles and weapons, as well as standard police equipment.
