'Baywatch' Release Date, News: Movie Teases a New Trailer Tomorrow; Poster Sparks Imagination
The year 2017 is filled with a lot of remakes, and one of the steamiest yet to come on May is the action/comedy film, "Baywatch." To make things sizzle even more, the movie is teasing more material to come very soon.
The movie's official Twitter account has posted a new poster with the caption, "It's a hard job, but there's a pair that can do it. NEW trailer Wednesday!" This was immediately followed by excited clamor from fans, hoping that they'll get to see more of Priyanka Chopra.
Chopra stars in the film as Victoria Leeds, a pretty lady shrouded in layers of mystery. While there are other females in the cast who can be considered as femme fatales, she exudes a persona that is very comely and foreboding at the same time, thus her appeal to many audiences.
While reactions to the post via the movie's Twitter account were a bit tame, the same cannot be said when Zac Efron, who takes on the role of Matt Brody, reposts it as fans go crazy. They quickly notice how the placement of the two beach balls and the standard-issued orange rescue buoy was kind of telling two stories, and the comments were just hilarious. In order to not spoil the fun, it's better to check the post for those who are interested.
With a new trailer coming tomorrow, it will be interesting what else it will be revealing. It can be recalled in the previous TV spot during the Super Bowl 51 that they showed clips of what audiences have seen before, yet they teased more comedy from all the bantering and Efron's flag-inspired speedos.
The ensemble is made up of Dwayne Johnson (Mitch Buchanan), Zach Efron (Matt Brody), Alexandra Daddario (Summer Quinn), Kelly Rohrbach (C.J. Parker), Jon Bass (Ronnie), Priyanka Chopra (Victoria Leeds), and Ilfenesh Hadera (Stephanie Holden). According to IMDb, Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff are also appearing, so that will be something to watch out for.
"Baywatch" dives into theaters on May 26, 2017.
