'Beauty and the Beast' finale spoilers and episode 12 recap: Will Cat and Vincent get their happy ending?

In the upcoming finale of "Beauty and the Beast," Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) might be getting their happy ending after all. The title of the episode is "Destined." The official synopsis for the episode reads Cat and Vincent will be required to work together as a couple in ways that they never have before, in order to defeat their foe Liam (Jason Gedrick) who will do anything so he can expose Vincent as a beast and destroy their love.

The finale will be one heck of a showdown as Vincent and Cat will attempt to stop Liam from destroying everything that they built. The series has been renewed for a fourth season so this last episode might open a door and set up another intriguing plot for the next season.

In the last episode of Beauty and the Beast, the show began with Tess (Nina Lisandrello) as she made JT's (Austin Basis) dream of becoming a professional hockey player finally come true. But JT ultimately saw the gift for what it was a distraction; a way for him to stop looking for Liam and he got mad at his girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Cat got angry when she discovered that she was being investigated by Internal Affairs. Cat and Vincent felt that the only option available to them was to wipe Liam's memory, which is not at all simple, and once they realized that they needed more help, the couple decided to break Robert (Rob Stewart) out of jail.

Heather (Nicole Gay Anderson) freaked out when she discovered that her sister Cat has an actual will. Robert knew that tracking down Liam would be no easy task and that Liam would want to take everyone out. In the end, Liam plants a bomb that killed Robert, and Cat was nowhere nearer to catching Liam than before.

The finale will air on Sept. 10 on The CW.
