'Beauty and the Beast' Release Date, News: Gaston Clip Shows How Musical the Live Adaptation Is

With less than a month before the live adaptation of the Disney animated classic "Beauty and the Beast" graces the silver screens with its presence, it is crunch time to make sure everyone is aboard the hype train. As such, a short clip from the movie is revealed, and it further confirms what everyone knew all along.

The movie clip shows the iconic scene where Gaston (Luke Evans) is depicted as his usual narcissistic self, which no one could blame him for considering almost everyone adores him. His wingman, LeFou (Josh Gad), leads the crowd as they sing his praises and could probably be the reason why he's got a large head to begin with.

Everyone knows that the original "Beauty and the Beast" was, in all its majesty, a musical animation, and this clip along with previously teased scenes further confirm that the live adaptation is going full on with it as well. From crowds chanting to singing expressively in true blue Disney style, the nostalgia is appropriately brought to life by the cast.

Netizens have been quick to show how positively excited they are. Fans are exclaiming that Josh Gad is perfectly fit for the role of LeFou and that Luke Evans makes Gaston's character difficult not to like. With over 600 thousand views and counting, the interest in the film is soaring high.

Prior to Gaston's clip, Belle's memorable opening scene in the film was first shown last Feb. 20. It reveals just how Emma Watson portrays an active princess, exactly what she has promised and wanted to deliver. Moreover, it is also a perfect fit for Watson since both she and Belle are fond of books, so one cannot ask for a better casting.

"Beauty and the Beast" is set to enchant and inspire in cinemas on March 17, 2017.
