'Beauty and the Beast' season 3 finale plot news: Liam ruins couple

With the series finale of the hit show "Beauty and the Beast" soon approaching, it was reported that the episode will expose Vincent, played by Jay Ryan, as a beast.

The finale is titled "Destined," and according to TV Guide, Liam, played by Jason Gedrick, will be doing all he can to show the monster that Vincent is. With that, Vincent will have to be careful as it could destroy his relationship with Cat, played by Kristin Kreuk.

Liam will try to steal Cat away from Vincent as he believes that she is the reincarnation of his former lover Rebecca Reynolds. It was confirmed that Reynolds was actually an ancestor of Cat. Reynolds, who lived during the 1800s, had a journal describing her life at that time. It was revealed that she too was in a relationship with a beast.

According to Cartermatt, the finale will finally see the wedding of Cat and Vincent. Fans will be happy to see the two finally married as it would be disappointing to have to wait until the next season to see the union of the couple.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode reads, "Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) will be forced to work together as a couple in ways they never have before if they hope to defeat their destined foe in Liam (guest star Jason Gedrick), who will do everything he can to expose Vincent as a beast in order to destroy their love. Austin Basis, Nina Lisandrello and Nicole Gale Anderson also star."

The previous episode showed Liam failing at taking down the couple when Cat's father, played by Ted Whittall, was found dead. Cat and Vincent realized that in order to get rid of Liam, they needed to eradicate his memory. For that, they turned to Robert. Unfortunately, Liam was able to kill him before they got to him.
Beauty and the Beast will air on Sept. 10 on The CW.
