Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Divorce News: Ex-Couple Try to Reconcile for Their Children, Might Not Split After All

Two years after reports about their impending divorce surfaced, it looks like Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck will not really split up after all.

On Feb. 21, a source told E! News that Affleck and Garner's relationship is very fluid and that despite not living with each other for two years, their relationship has not really changed. Last week, reports claimed that Garner was already filing for divorce but according to the source, the two actors are currently trying to rebuild their relationship.

"They have been working at their relationship for the past few years," said the source, adding that Garner and Affleck have decided to improve their communication for the sake of their children. In fact, the source also revealed that the two actors took several trips together last year.

For the 10 years that they were together, Affleck had three children with Garner — Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 4. Despite not being together, the two have reportedly committed to creating the best possible situation for their children. And since they seem to have successfully worked on their relationship since they separated, what the future holds for them is unclear.

The source told the publication that the spirit of their relationship has not changed ever since, and whether or not they will opt for reconciliation remains to be seen. However, their current status suggests that reconciliation is very likely.

Meanwhile, Garner revealed while promoting her new film, "Miracles from Heaven," that Affleck was a brilliant, charismatic and generous person, but he's a complicated guy. "I didn't marry the big fat movie star; I married him. And I would go back and remake that decision... He's just a complicated guy. I always say, when his sun shines on you, you feel it. But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it's cold. He can cast quite a shadow," she said to Vanity Fair.
