Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Divorce Update, Rumor: No More Chance for Reconciliation between the Ex-Couple with Charlize Theron Entering the Picture?
After praising ex-wife Jennifer Garner for her excellence in performing her mother duties and dubbing her as a "supermom" just recently, Ben Affleck is now rumored to be rekindling a past romance with Charlize Theron. According to various reports, Affleck and Theron are keeping their relationship under wraps, and were caught slightly flirting with each other in Vanity Fair's Oscar Party in February.
"Jennifer was there, so Ben and Charlize limited themselves to a relatively quick conversation before going their separate ways," according to a source cited by numerous reports.
It was in June last year when Affleck and Garner grabbed headlines following their announcement that they have already separated. Despite the separation, though, the two manage to live under the same roof in their L.A. mansion. The decision is a result of the desire of the two to give their three children—Seraphina, Violet, and Samuel—a normal parenting.

On the other hand, Affleck and Theron allegedly felt connected with each other way back in 2000 while filming the movie "Reindeer Games". However, despite the feelings they had for each other, their respective relationships at that time made them hold back what they were feeling then. Theron was in a relationship with Stephan Jenkins at that time while Affleck was involved with Gwyneth Paltrow.
With Affleck having called it quits with Garner and Theron ending her marriage with actor Sean Penn, it goes without saying that the two are now free to get their feelings off their chest and act on them. However, according to sources, the only thing that stops the two from letting the public know of their real romantic link is the feelings of the people around them, including their children with their respective previous partners.
"They've got an insane connection... it's time for them to act on the passion that was sparked all those years ago," said a source to OK! magazine as reported by Hollywood Life.
