'Ben-Hur, First to Finish, Last to Die,' will be on cinemas soon. The epic action film directed by Timur Bekmambetov is the fourth cinema adaptation of the book "Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ" written by Lew Wallace. Reports say that the entire movie was actually shot in Rome, Italy and the filming lasted for more than six months.

The role of Ben-Hur will be reprised by Jack Huston. The 33-year old actor has had powerful roles in films such as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, American Hustle, and The Longest Ride. In Ben-Hur, he will play a Jewish prince was betrayed and accused falsely of treason by Messala, his adopted brother. Ben-Hur was sentenced to slavery and lost all that he has in his life. He spent a year working in the galley of a Roman ship, after which he finds strength and courage to fight against the tyranny of the Roman Empire.

In the movie, Ben-Hur's life was changed forever, not just because of being sentenced as a slave but because he encountered Jesus of Nazareth.
According to reports, Benkambetov chose Huston for the role because he saw that the actor can best portray a person who lived during the Roman era. Rumors also said that the director once considered Tom Hiddleston for the part.
Legendary actor Morgan Freeman will play the role of Sheik Ilderim, a wealthy man who will help Ben-Hur take revenge on Messala. Freeman's role will play a large part in supporting Ben-Hur's role.
Messala will be played by Toby Kebbell. Esther, Ben-Hur's love interest in the movie will be played by Nazarin Boniadi from Homeland and Iron Man, and the role of Jesus will be played by Rodrigo Santoro from 300: Rise of an Empire, 300, and The 33.
Other cast members are Sofia Black D'Ella as Tizrah, Ayelet Zurer as Naomi, Haluk Bilginer as Simonides and Moises Arias as Gestas.
