Ben Regrets Letting Go Of Riley As He Romances Sam In Season 5 Of 'Baby Daddy'
"Baby Daddy" Season 5 will have Ben regretting his decision to leave Riley for Danny. The new season will have a new love interest for Ben and Allie Gonino will be the one for Ben.
Season 4 of "Big Daddy" ended when Riley chose Danny over Ben and brought an end to the Danny-Riley-Ben love triangle. Now that Ben is single and never had a tough time in making a girl fall for him, he will be seen romancing the character of Allie Gonino in the new season. Ben also has to deal with the fact that he let Riley get away from him, according to Realty Today.
TV Line confirmed that actress Allie Gonino, who has appeared in 'The Lying Game' and 'The Red Road,' will play Ben's new love interest and will play the character of 'Sam'. The way Ben and Sam meet is very interesting. Sam applies for the post of manager at the bar run by Ben & Danny.
When Ben sees her, he recognises her as the girl who was his high school crush. And then things start happening for both in the new season.
In this paradise comes Riley back again. She is not happy with Sam and Ben's happy coziness. Riley and Sam have a high school history too. Apparently, Sam used to bully Riley and Riley hates her for this. She is just not happy that a bullying girl is now romancing Ben.
Though Riley has no right to interfere in Ben's life and nag him against Sam, it adds a new dynamic to the foursome – Danny, Ben, Riley and new addition Sam.
Also, Ben is never going to disregard what Riley has to say about Sam. So Ben is going to work his way around his ex and present gals.
Creator of "Baby Daddy" Dan Berendsen spoke to TV Line about doing something different in Season 5.
He said, "We wanted to show Danny and Riley mid-relationship, rather than doing the same stories we've done with Ben and Riley, like their awkward first date. We wanted to go to some fresh territory."
"Baby Daddy" Season 5 will launch on ABC Family sometime in 2016.
